There was-a good attendance of delegates. In moving the adoption of the annual report, tho president said he believed the association had reason to congratulate itself upon a successful year, lloforrmg to tho old Thorndon Club, ho expressed pleasure at its resuscitation and re-entry into the game. The sohools competition bad been very successful, and if this branch were carried on it would bo with considerable benefit to the game in Wellington. , The adoption of tho balance-sheet was moved by the treasurer, Mr. W. Duncan, who said he was sorry to say the balance wa« oil the wrong sido. Tho oapitation fees received dui-ing the past year wero'more than £50 less than on j the previous year, and' that,.with an-1 other item, accounted almost entirely for the stato of the association's finances.. , |
