SOUTHERLY WEATHER
: I Yesterday a,, fresh southerly. breese gave a vigorous tone to the air. The sky was clear, and the weather -was thoroughly enjoyable.: Beyond; Kawhia and Gisborne the weather has been squally and unsettled. Everywhere else the conditions have, been fair _; and genial. North-west of the Dominion the aspeot is stated by the Meteorological Department to 'be somewhat ominous. Unsettled weather generally is predioted, with increasing easterly and northerly winds and rain following, ■ The barometer is falling everywhere. .-.
