ANOTHER WAR LOAN

There can be little doubt, said the Minister, that in view of the fact that our commitments are so heavy in' regard to equipment and of troops it will bo necessary to obtain, authority when Parliament meets for., a further war loan. In this connection! I would like to point out that it is thej duty of large institutions as ■well as! firms and individuals to put aside asmuch as possible so that when thenow. war loan prospectus is launched thoy: -will.be in a position to do their duty and subscribe; to the utmost limit of' their available resources. ,'. ; . .Asked if he could give any idea as to the amount that would be asked Mr.- Myers said: "The fact that our expenditure directly for' war' purposes approximates £1,000,000 per month is, I think; sufficient indication that the sum required will be Substantial.
