The. weather still lias an unsettled aspect.' Yesterday tho force of the southerly appreciably decreased during the day, though, tho "tanjj" of the colder latitudes was still in. tho air. Drizzling showers fell during the forenoon. Towards evening tho wind , died down, and the night was fine. Present indications, states tha official forecast, are for moderate to strong south-east to nortli-easfc winds. Unsettled and showery weather is predicted for districts north of Kawhia and East Cape, but elsewhere the conditions are expected to range from fair to clondy. ■
