Sd. to 3Js.; two, four, and six-tooth ewee, 335.; Eomncy Tarns, Bens. to lOgns. Mixed weanors, £3 18s.; three .and a half-year bullocks, £15 145.; light fat bullocks, to £16 17s. 6d. Messrs. Dalgety a—nd Co., Ltd., report:— Wβ held our weekly stock sale at Dannevirke on Friday, March 23, when we offered a-small yarding o* sheep aad a couple of pens of oattle. Two-tooth ewes and wothers failed to reach vendors' reserves, and wore passed in at auction. Thero were practically no 'cattle offered, clients evidently reserving their entries for the cattle fair on Wednesday next. Wo quote:—Forward ewea, 255. 6d. to 265.; fail-ing-mouth ewes, 22s*to 235. 4&.; rams, Lincoln and Eomney, 2sne. to 3gne.; dairy cows, to £11 15s;; eiehteen-month steers, bid colours, £7 2s. 6d.; empty heifers, do., £6 12s. 6d.

At Feildine on lEarch 23 we had a fair entry of, stock. Oattle were in fair demand, -and with tho exception of a few pens of aged ewes all yarded were sold. The New Zealand Loan and jtcrcantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:—At Alfredton on Thursday we had a good entry of sheep and a small one of catlte.-. There was a good attendance, but the sale wag rather a dragging one. With the- exception of two pens -we made a total clearance at tho following rates:—Good two-tooth ewes, 365.; cull do.. 18s. 9d.; four and six-tooth and f.f.m. cwcb, 295.; four and five-year v ewes, 20s. 6d. to 255.; aged owes, 12s. 6d. to 145.; medium siorn owe lambs, 15s. Bd.; do., wether lambs, 15s. Id.; cull lambs, Bs. 5d.; b.f. lambs, 14s. The Wairarapa Farmers' Co-operativo Association, Ltd., Pahiatua, report on their stock sales held during the past week as follows:—At Woodrille, .last Monday, we offered a fair yarding of sheep and small entry of cattle to a good attendance of buyers. Competition for ehecp was decidedly slack, but under tha hammer and prrrately we managed to sell the bulk of our yarding dt Tery satisfactory prices. TTo report' the following prices:—3s two-tooth ewes. 325. Id.; '28 mixed tiro-tooths (small), 265.; 30 fat and forward owos, 28s. 6d.; 39 cull cwss, 15s. 9d. : 78 shorn lambs (small), 14s. 7d.j 50 do ciilTu. 12s. 6d.; 36 do., 10s. 6d\; fat cowb, £9 ss. to £10 155.; store cowe, £6 ss. to £6 10s.; weancrs, £3 3s. At Makuri, last Thursday, we •■ held a moet successful clearing sale on account of Mr. J. O'Styko. Owing to the distance from any dairying centre, we expected n. rather dull sale for milking cows, but the sale went with a swing from start to finish, and prices realised were very satisfactory. We nuote as follows:—12 eighteen-month Eteers, £9 10s.; 14 eighteen-month heifers, £7 113.; 17 Tveanerß, £3 55.; 13 calves (poor), 365.; heifers in calf, £8 155.; dairy cows, £7, £8 10s., £8 155., £9, £9 55., £10 10s., £11, £11 15s. All claeses of sundries realised satisfactory prices.

At 6tony River, on Tuesday Ust, .there was a good entry of cows, bnt very fow wcaners, those yarded being very rough.
