COMPOUND. . , By Telegraph.—Press Association. ,■■-.■ Auckland, March 25. Through inadvertently swallowing a quantity of boiler compound, Victor Oviberg, a-Swede, employed l at Messrs. Bartholomew's sawmill, Ngatira, died on Thursday. A youth named Richard Nixon, 17 years of age, was admitted to tho Hospital yesterday morning suffering from painful burns on both legs. It appears that curtains in -.the house where he resides in , Cambridge Terrace caught fire, and he suffered the hurts when trying to'extinguish the flames. His condition is not regarded as dangerous. •■
