East is very strong irr batting, and capable of running up extraordinary scores against any but the best bowling. Petoncj however, may produce bowling that will cause trouble. Brice, of course, is tho suburban teams most likely -mail to make tilings awkward for East, but tho team "111 general can fight when occasion arises. The East team to play Petono on Saturday will bo chosen from tho following :—Gibbes, Midlane, Condliffo, Dind, J. Hatchings, Nash, Bruce, Baker, Hylton, H. Hutchings, Walters, Osborne.
