He was ordered to pay a fine of 205., or undergo a week's imprisonment. For assaulting his wife, Francis Connell was fined 205., with the alternative of a week's imprisonment. He was also convicted of insobriety, and discharged. Mary Duffy was charged with having loitered in Courtenay Place for an immoral purpose. She was convicted and sentenced to a month's imprisonment. Charles AValker, charged with the theft of. jewellery from the Empire Hotel,; was further remanded for a week.' ,
