The chief objects are to_ secure adequate allowances and. pensions for dependants, and to assist the authorities in every way possible to carry out New Zealand's part in tho war. Tho league will be strictly non-political. His Worship the Mayor (Mr. ,T. P. Luke) has consented to preside on Tuesday.
