The sub-committee appointed to go into the miestion of postal arrangements in the district an interinl report, aiuL-tteps are to be talten in accordance therewith to endeavour to obtain better facilities. ■ The sub-committee, in charge of 'the work of planting the j school grounds with trees reported that i arrangements had been made to com- 1 mence the work, and desired the full committee, members of the association, and residents of the district to form a "wbrkinq; bee" on Saturday afternoon next,/whon a start will be made.
