The Karuri Riflo Club met the Old Navnls Club in a friendly match on Saturday afternoon on tbo Suburbs Rifle Club's range at Miramar. Martin Challenge Badges, President Eabo's team defeating the lioldors by 6 pionts, with scores as follows:— President-Rabe's Team —F. E. Franltlyn, 90: President J. Eabe, 84; 'A. Fellows, 81; A. Guise. 77: Total, ' 332 points. F. Standidge's team totalled 326 points.

PETONE V. SUBURBS. Teams' matches wero fired between tho Petono and Suburbs Rifle Clubs, at tho former's range, Waiwctu, on Saturday. The ranges fired were 300, 500, 600 yards, each club firing twenty men, and the ten highest scores on each side to constitute tho club's No. 1 teams. Tho best shoot of tho day Was by R. C. Barklc, who notched 100, which included a possible at 300 yards. The next best shoots wero put up by Hunt and Fellingham, each with 96. A. J. Jackson 95. . The light was very bad, and all competitors had great difficulty in keeping their elevation, and most of tho shots lost during the afternoon were elevation shots. In , tho No. I Team's match Petono were victorious over the Suburbs No. 1 by 5 points—Petono, 901; Suburbs, 896. In the No. 2 Teams, Suburbs scored a win. Suburbs, 772; Petono; 745. At tho conclusion of the match President Graham thanked the Petono Club for the pleasant afternoon provided, and congratulated ■them on their win.
