THREATENED RAILWAY STRIKE
EFFORTS TO AVERT IT. (Rco. March 17, 6.5 p.m.) Washington, March 16. President Wilson has nominated a Committee of Cabinet, with Mr. Gompers, of tho American Federation of Labour, and Mr. Willard, President of the Baltimore and Ohio Railway, to confer with the railwaymen in. a final effort to avert a strike.
