TRENT HAM SOLDIERS' CLUB
The Soldiers' Chibrooms at Tronlham have now been completed, and are ready to bo equipped for use. 'Up to the prcsout £'500 of tbe £2000 required has boon subscribed, and it is hoped that very shortly tho balance will ua acquired. An impression that the club is for officers only is said to bo affecting subscriptions, and to be creating doubt as to the urgent need of the rooms. The club is divided up between officers, n.c.o.'s, and men, and as there aro moro of the latter, the greater portion of tho building has been set aside for their use. The Mayor, Mr. J. P. Luke, with bis committco, and Colonel Potter, visited the club recently, and it has been decided to equip the reading and writing rooms at once. Tonders for the furnishing will shortly bo called for.
