Regarding the Mayor of Auckland's statement about the selling price of electrical power, the Christchurch City Electrical Engineer .states that the average price for power in Christchurcn last year was 1.82 d. per unit, which is 14 per cent, lower than the Auckland prices, and that power can he obtained in Christehurch at as low rates as in any other town in Australasia.
