"JACK'S COME HOME!"

The invitations have been restricted to the members of the Ministry, the local mombors of the House, and tho two Speakers, Major-General Sir Alfred Robin and his staff, the chairman and secretary of the Harbour Board, and tho chairman of the Executive Committee of the local'branch "of 'the Navy League. The gallery will bo thrown open to the public. There will only be ono toast—"Tho King.'.' The Mayor will briefly welcome tho officers and men on behalf of the citizens of Wellington, and the Acting-Prime Minister -•• (Sir ■ Jariie's Allen) will speak on behalf of the Gov-: crnment. It is not anticipated that the whole function will last for more than an. hour.'
