The Spihsters' Club has collected a great variety of saleable goods for the jumble sale, which is to bo held this afternoon in, St. Peter's Mission Hall. Household, ornamental, and wearing apparel have been given liberally and will bo sold at special prices. Tho sale opens at two o'clock and the proceeds go to the club's Soldiers' Comforts' Fund. The Misses Daniell, who have been spending some weeks in Wellington, havo returned to Masterton. Miss Griffin, of the staff of the Napier Girls' High School, and Miss Burden, of the Hastings High School, havo been appointed assistants at tho Palmerston North High School.
