At last week's meeting of the Lyttelton 'Harbour Board a letter was received from Thomas M'Laren and Co.. of Glasgow, who wrote asking the board to fix a price for the suction dredge Canterbury. "Not for sale," said a chorus of \ members. "It is a curious thing," said Mr. C. Allison, "that people who ma-ko these things should want to hny one bock from us.
