Mr. Stephens states that through an oversight on the part o fthc Government Statisician's Office his name was not preceded by an. asterisk, as it should have been. Ho states that he enlisted with one of the early Reinforcements, and was within a few days of going into oarnp when ho had a motor-cycle accident. and was under medical treatment for some months. Since this lie has twice er.-listcd, but has been rejected on account cf a weak knee, the outcome of the accident.
