A BEAUTIFUL DAY
Yestorday saw a" return of summer weather in Wellington and the surrounding district. A light northerly, carrying a liazo of smoke from backcountry bush liros, blow all day, the sky was clear, an<i tho air was warm. The official weather forecast indicates northerly and westerly winds, -Sncreasins from strong to sale, especially in. and southward of Cook Strait. Warm and Hazy conditions will be followed by unsettled weather, with rain following in many parts of tho Dominion. A general fall in the barometer is forecasted.
