Brodie, Koman Oatholio Bishop of Christchurch, and Fathers Herring and Murphy. Bishop Brodio appeared for himself and the other appellants. He produced a letter from tho Minister of Munitions supporting Bis appeal. Tho hoard allowed all three appeals. Tho Bishop said Fathor Murphy had been appointed a military chaplain. A Marist,Brother was exempted conditionally on remaining in. his prosenfc occupation.
