OBITUARY

DR. WILLIAM H. HOSKINC. News came to hand last evening of tho death at .Masterton yesterday oF Dr. Wm. H. Hosking, tlie best-known medical man in the Wairarapa district, at the ago of 75 years. The deceased was a native of Cornwall, England, and came to New Zealand in 1863. Ho practised his profession at the Bluff, and later at Hokitika and Ross (ore the West Coast). Ho took up Ms residence in Masterton.in 1875, and had resided there ever since. In his later rears ho took up the study of radiography and his services were much, sought after by patients from all parts of the Dominion. For many years ho had been a Justice of the Peace. Dr. Hosking was twice married. Ho leaves a widow, four sons and one daughter. His eldest son is Dr. Archer Hosking, of Masterton.
