HEMP AND TOW GRADING
The total number of bales of hemp graded at the grading ports of the ■Dominion during February was 12,606, as compared with 14,408 for tho corresponding period of last year, a decrease of ISO 2 bales. For the'twelve Jnonths ended February 28. the rmmler of bales graded was i0'0,339, as •compared .with. 181,026 for the previous •twelve months, an increase of 19,313 tales, v .....•' During the month 2738 bales of tow were dealt with, as compared -with '4363 for. the: corresponding month of last year,, -a .decrease of 1625 bales. For the twelve-months ended February 28; the number of bales graded was 38,669, as • compared with 36,483 for tho previous-.'twelve months, an increase; of 2186 bales. During: the month the number of bales of stripper slips graded was 179, as compared with' 828 for the corresponding month of last year; a'decrease of 649 bales. For. the twelve months ended February, 28. the number of bales graded was 5073, as compared with 5320 for the previous twelve months, a~ decrease of 247 bales.
