■ M. Herriot, the French Minister of Public Works, announces tTiat 6000 prisoners are to be employed to assist the French coalminers. Moroccan miners will also bo employed. "Politiken," ' the Copenhagen newspaper,' states that the Danish Foreign Offico has received an offer to build large barracks in Northern Jutland where disabled prisoners of the belligerents will arrive in tho spring. ■ German newspapers state that Captain Boolke's diary of his experiences in the war, with illustrations and a preface written by his ■ father, will shortly be published at Gotha. It will be remembered that Boelke was killed on the Sommo front in October last.
