OL'TIOTAL STATISTICS. Melbourne, March 8. The official figures*of the'wheat poo) for 1916 show that. wheat exported totalled 45,491,000 bushels, equivalent in flour to 0,715,000 bushels. Tho net realisations were: AVheat, 11,762,000 bushels; flour, 1,670,000 bushels. Tho average return was ss. 2d. per bushel, wheat. converted into flour 4s. lljd. Tho total return was ss. lid. The surplus, to go under contract, will give a not average of 4s. 9 2-od. per bushel. —Press Association.
