COMMANDER JONES. OF THE SHARK. London, March 7. A full account of experiences of tho destroyer Shark in tho Jutland battle, obtained from survivors, shows than when the Shark was Hearing her end ten Herman destroyers and light cruisers came up 'and opened lire at six hundred yards. AVhen Captain Jonos's 'leg was blown off, two seamen rail tip with a. picco of wood and some rope to stop the bleeding. When Captain Jones asked them to leave him they replied l , "Wo must do it for your good, sir." While the seamen adjusted the tourniquet, Captain Jones sat on the deck, and suddenly asked, "What' 9 wrong' with the ensign ?" The seamen replied, "It's shot down, .sir." Captain Jones replied, "Hoist another." Tho midshipman and seamen obeyed s , and the captain repiarked, "That's .Ecood," and seemed content.
