The lady members of tbo Marton Patriotic Society did all the catering, and as everything was given,' a substantial sum should be raised. The show was an improvement on its predecessors, particularly in the Lincoln and Southdown sheep classes, but the strongest section was undoubtedly that of horses, and it is tho opinion of some that if that side irons well developed, tho Marton horse show would be unequalled along the coast.
