Ample verandah .space is provided' for in tho plans, and every, room in the building will be provided with a fireplace. Other necessary buildings and improvements in the hospital grounds aro being proceeded with. The laying out of garden beds and grass plots continues, and the whole appearance is now very pleasing, with light patches of •colour to contrast witli'the green lawn. \ ■ At the present- time there are very few patients in hospital, there being only one measles patient in solitary occupation of the measles ward.
