In the House of Commons Mr. Bonar Law announced that- tlio Princo of Wales had resigned tho .chairmanship of the Pensions Conmillteo, which tho Pensions Minister now controlled. Ho paid a-tribute to His Royal Highness's zeal for the welfaro of tho soldiers and sailors, which -cave great pronriso of the part he would play in. public affairs with increasing years.
