By Telegraph—Press Association. ; Auokland, March 6. Two overseas vessels arrived this morning, and brought men returned from active service. The great majority have come back unfit for active service, a few on furlough, and a number have returned to report fa? doty. The first ship to arrive brought six officers, four non-commissioned officers, and 35 men. The other vessel brought a total of 69 of all ranks. Of these there is one non-commissioned officer, also ten men for _ Auckland, while 19 of tho non-commissioned officers will report at Wellington for duty. Tho Mayor boarded- both vessels and extended a welcome on behalf of the citizens.
