27th REINFORCEMENTS
MOBILISATION BEGINS
WELLINGTON MEN ENTER , CAMP
The mobilisation of the Twenty-sev-enth Reinforcements, with additional men required to cover existing shortages in the training camps, ds now proceeding. The 'Wellington men went into camp yesterday, and the drafts from the other districts will follow in the usual order, tho mobilisation being completed by Wis end of the week.
•The recruits i'ivjm Group o (Wellington City and Suburbs) paraded at the Group Headquarters in the morning and marched through the city to Lambton Station, headed by the drummers and prompters of the sth (Wellington) Regiment, under Sergeant Driver and the Central Mission Band, under Bandmaster H. Baker. The draft was the largest seen in Wellington for some months, and the physique of most of the. men was excellent.
