Mr. Churchill, in tho British Houso of Commons, has raised 'the question whether tho' Salonika, expedition is worth while, having regard, Jo. the, present strain on our available tonnage, and the heavy calls made upon sea transport for tbo Army in the Balkans. Mr. Bonar Law, in. reply, makes it clear that matters of high policy are involved and cannot bo discussed, even in a. secret session. There is no material development on the "Western front, beyond tho consolidating of recent gains, and further successful troncli raids.
