CARVING TOOLS WANTED
'FOR RETURNED SOLDIERS.. Sir, —Many returned men, when at Rotorua are taught wood-carving. Afterwards they oftimes are sent to Wellington to the Convalescent Home at Lowrv Bay for a change at the soasido. Would you ask that any persons having sots of tools used for this purpose, and having no further hbo for them now, would donato them to tho home at tho bay for the use of tho' men there? pur worthy surgeon, General Henderson, is always advocating that tho mind must ho drawn away from tho soldiers' ailment if one wishes to see a change for tho best. The treatment we receive at our local Victoria ward, Wellington Military Hospital, at the convalescent homos at the various centres, tho sanatorium, Rotorua, King George Hospital, Rotorua, are a standing testimony. to the high efficiency and. organisation of the medical- branch of tho service.
