RED CROSS
Mr. Bernard Tripp has received a letter from Lieutenant-Colonel Parkes (who is head of tho New Zealand Army Medical Corps in England), in which he states:—"l have sent a cable message to Colone] Moorhouse that money instead of bandages was preferred. It «8 certainly not economical to Bay the higher rate for material in New Zealand when the bandages can be tiiade cheaper in this country, and I r.m pleased that you have drawn the attention of the New Zealand Eed Cross Committee to the matter."
