The Press Bureau states that Sir George Askwith's Committee of Production has awarded all engineering and shipbuilding workers ss. weekly to assist them iu meeting the increased cost of living, and another award provides for a minimum advance on the time rato in the engineering trade of 75., making the total war advance 12s.
