UNIVERSITY EXAMINATIONS
SOME DEGREE RESULTS. Cabled results of University examinations "nave been received from tbe examiners in England. Tlio official results will not bo published until details are received by post. Victoria College candidates have done well. Amonj; those entitled (according to the cablegram) to the M.A. degree are Miss Braddock, Mr. Gould, Miss Ross, and Mr. Tocker. Miss Braddock is credited' vith first-class honours in philosophy, and Mr. Gould with firstclass honours in economics. Among those entitled to the B.A. degree aie Katie and Hugo Mackenzie (daughter and son of Professor Mackenzie). Corporal Hugo Mackenzie (a recent candidate for the Rhodes Scholarship), who is now undergoing training to fight for Ills country, is credited by the English examiners with winning two University senior scholarships (Latin and French). Misses Bell, Crawford, Duggan, Parker, and Shields have secured the B.A. degree—Miss Shields being entitled to tho senior scholarship in English.
