Sydney, February 27. Speaking at the picnic of the employees of" tho naval establishments, Senator Gardiner denied that tho Senato was tho lion in the path of the party in power. If a proposition were put before tho Senate for tho benefit of tho country it would get tho same consideration as though it had been proposed by tho Labour Government.— Press Association.
