, DREADFUL FATE.OF A' RACE. . (Rec. February 26, 5.5 p.m.) London, February 25. Mr. A.' J. Balfour (Minister for Foreign Affairs), in a letter to the American Committee for Armenian relief, says: "It is doubtful if the true horror of the sufferings of the Armenians is realised. There were eighteen hundred thousand Armenians in the Otto-, man Empire.before tho war. -Of this number twelve hundred thousand were massacred or deported.
