In the report to bo presented at tho annual meeting of tho Metropolitan l'ermnnent Building and Investment Society oil March 12, tho directors recommend that the usual distribution of profits, at tho rate of 7 per cent, per ajinnm, ho made, and that a further sum of £500 be added to tho reserve fund, -which -will then stand at £12,000. Tho profltß for the year (including a balance of £97 3s. 4d. brought forward from last year after deducting the usual' amounts) total £3765 os. 2d., which it is proposed to appropriate as follows:—To credit holders "B" investment shares at 7 per cent, for twelve months ending February 15, 1917, £1637 3s. 3d.; to payment of dividend at 3J per ccnt. for six months ending February 15, 1917, to holders of "A" £10 shares, £1050; to reservo fund, £500; £3187 os. 3d.
