CANADA'S FART IN THE WAR
USING HER WHOLE STRENGTH London, February 23. Sir Robert Borden (Prime Minister of Canada), in an interview, declared that Canada was throwing her whole strength into tho war. Four hundred thousand men bad already crossed the Atlantic, and further measures in recruiting were being considered. Ovor 300,000 men and women wore working in munition factories. Canada haa raised sixty millions sterling since the war began, besides assisting Britain to the extent of fifty millions for munitions. The idea of national service was increasingly impressing itself on Canadians. Everywhere leagues had_ been formed for co-ordinating and utilising the energies of tho people.—Reuter.
