N.Z. SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Arrangements in connection with the Dominion Schools swimming championships, to bo hold at Te Aro baths on Saturday, aro well in hand. Representatives are coming from all parts of New Zealand, and the meeting promises to be a very successful one. in addition to the championship'!events, there is ample provision made for tho junior element, as well as a handicap race for soldiers and an open race, and diving, etc. The Trentham Camp Band will be in attendance, and any surplus is to be handed over to the Returned Soldiers' Club. The New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association is holding a conference of delegates in Wellington on Saturday, wlien the question of compulsory swimming in public schools will be discussed '
