. SELINSKY-AMADIO COMPANY. On Saturday night the Town Hall will no doubt be tho rendezvous of all persons who delight in music of the great masters. The Amadio-Selinsky Concert Company has earned for itself a very high reputation. The company began its Dominion tour at the Town Hall at Now Year time, and has continued its triumph in all the principal towns in New Zealand. Composed Of a quintet of players and singers, who are at the zenith of their art, they appeal to pleasure-scek-crS and student alike. Mr. Selinskv, the Russian violinist, has tlio rare gift |of conveying all that ho feels to every' audience. Mr. John Anindio, as a flautist, is one of tho world's best, and his ■power of entrancing hearers is a gift. Miss Elsio Trewcek is tho "soprano of the party, her yoico has a wonderful range, and her choice of songs embrace the newest as well as the most successful • ballads. Miss Jessie Mason; the pianist
of the company, is in the first flight of star performers. Sho is assisted by a delightful personality. The other members of tho company add to tho charm of the evening's entertainment. Tho season is for three nights only. The plan opens at tho Bristol this morning. HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. Something now in tho vaudeville line is produced at His Majesty's Theatre this week, where Victor Prince, at tho head of a bright band, presents tho first act of an extremely amusing burlesquo on "Robinson Crusoe." The large audiences which have attended tho first two performances havo enjoyed .hearty laughs. at the fare provided. Tho second and last act of tho comedy will bo presented next Monday. In tho second half of tho bill tho.Elmars make a reappearance, and carry out some very clover balancing feats. Herlyn i 3 highly entertaining with his comedy magical work. Others on the programme aro Blako and Granby in a capital comedy sketch, Phil Percival, and Winifred and Lumley. THE KING'S. "She who must be obeyed," the weird and wondorful sorceress of Eider Haggard's famous novel, continues to prove as popular in pictures as in the book, and seating accommodation at the King's Theatre is at a premium. Tho supporting films are excellently chosen, and includo a laughable Keystone and an extra good number of tho Patho news film: . EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. : Mae, Marsh .makes a splendid Irish colleen in "The Marriage of Molly-O," the Triangle play heading this week's picture menu at Everybody's. Robert Harron as the jarvey sports a little toothbrush moustache, a la Chaplin, and as this is the first part he has had re-,, quiring the wearing of such facial adornment many of his young admirers have difficulty in recognising their hero. Mr. Melvin sings "Mother Machree" with telling effect twice each evening. 1 THE EMPRESS.
