i At the Wellington Club's Green, on Monday, Fauvell and E.. J. Hill defeated L. Blundell and J. J. Roberts in the final for the club pairs. The score was. 20 —17.' Porteous a'nd Hill played the first of their games in the semi-final for the Wellington Club singles last evening. A close finish resulted, in Porteous winning (17—16). The winner of these games (two 'out of three games to qualify) has to meet W. Grenfell in the final. The following teams will play for Seatoun on Saturday next:—Pennants, against Newtown—Home: H. MTarlane, Collie, -H. M'Girr, W.vatt (s.). Away: Kirchor, Carey, Magill, Green (s.). Friendly, against Wellington: Meston, Berry, Alexander. W. M'Girr (s.). The following have been selected to •nlay for Petone Club against Railway on Saturday:—Findlay, R. Hutchinson, Curtis, Coles (s.); F. Cooper. Gilmour, T. Jf Arthur.
