MINISTERS' PORTFOLIOS

A REARRANGEMENT. Consequent upon the death of the Hon. Dr. M'Nab, a reapportionment of the portfolios held by him has been made. A great many of the offices formerly under Sir Joseph Ward's care were handed over to Dr. M'Nab wheu Sir Joseph Ward left for England. These portfolios held by Dr. M'Nab" have been distributed among the Liberal Ministers in the National Cabinet as follows: Hon. G. AY. Russell—Minister of Marine. Hon. A. M. Myers.—Minister w Charge of Public Trust Office. Hon. AY. D. S. MacDonald—Post-master-General, Minister in Charge of Tourist and Health Resorts, and Government Life Insurance. Hon. J. A. Hanan.—Minister of Justice. These arrangements have been'made by the Prime Minister (Mr. Massey) and Sir Joseph Ward.
