WEEK-END WEATHER PROS' PECTS
Yesterday's perfect . weather gave promise of a fine week-end, but the Government Meteorologist's forecast does not make the brightest of reading. Present indications, he says, are for variable winds. Fair to cloudy weather is to be expected generally, aut a change is probable shortly in the southward of Cook Strait, with a falling barometer everywhere.
