QUESTION IN BRITISH PARLIAMENT. (Rec. Febrnary 15, 5.5 p.m.) London, February, 14. Iu the House of Commons Mr. Thorne gave notice of motion calling tho attention, of the Government to the fact that tho Swift-Armour Meat Companies had projected extensive after-war ■ operations in Queensland and New Zealand, and asking whether, in view of the Beef Trust's domination of Argentina, tho Imperial Government will communicate with tho colonies.in order to secure permanently the present Government control of the Australasian meat supplies, and ascertain if they have auy suggestions in regard to Imperial assistance in developing meat supplies.— Aus.-N.Z.
