HEMP AND TOW GRADING
The total number of bales of hemp i graded at the various grading ports during January, was 12,123, as compared with 10,823 for the corresponding period of last year, an increase of 1300 bales.., For the twelve months ended January 31. the number of bales graded was 152,141, as compared with 125,095 for the previous twelve months, an increase of 27.046 bales. During the month, 3182 bales of tow were dealt with as compared with 3234 for the corresponding month of last year, ■ft decrease of 52 bales. For the twelve
