A Visitor's Tribute. A correspondent, "Visitor," mites as under, referring to an articlej "What Our Women Do," published in this column last week: —"An article in your paper of the Bth instant, appearing in the; 'Notes,.for .Women, 1 deserves acOur. women are'working, and working well. When visiting your city a week ago I was surprised at the work Wellington's women folk had done, and were doing. Not only are they working well, but they are also keeping well. Never have I seen so many pretty girls. In_ fact, it seemed useless to try and discover one really plain face among the crowds. Bright eyes and dazzling complexions, ana, above all, neatness m dress. True it is that among this busy, energetic crowd I did meet one or two ladies ( ?) of leisiire, who became very annoyed when a passer-by became entangled in Fido's' chain. But for these species we must,, as I saw in a picture journal lately, be sorry, and remember "She's somebody's mother,. boys!"
