SCOLDING IS HARMFUL
Iu most.cascs.it is positively harmful io scold nervous, fidgety children; harmful because the condition is usually aggravated by this form of punishment.
Children, are nervous because they inherit a tendency to nervousness: because they overstudy or overwork, or because they are run down physically.
Whatever the cause, nervous children need careful management. Instead of impatience and scolding, see that the patient does not oyer work or over study ; give good nourishing food, sufficient out-of-door exercise and a safe non-alcoholic tonic. Dr. Williams' Pink Pills are the tonic for such cases, harmless, puear coated and easy to take. As the tonic treatment builds up the child's nervous strength there will bo less demands on your temper, less temptation to scold. When nervous children get in "tantrums" put them to bed, whatever the hour of the day. Tf the paroxysm continues, give the child a warm bath and return it to bed. Persist in tho tonic treatment with Dr. Williams' Pink Pills, the nourishing food and r the exercise. It is surprising how many nervous disorders are corrected by building up the blood. Even St. Vitus' dance will yield if you are inithfnl. These pills are sold by all medicine dealers.
A useful booklet, "Diseases of the Nervous System." will be sent free to any. sulterer applying to tho Dr. Williams' Medicine Co., AVellington.
