'At 10.30 o'clock on Saturday night man named Michael Heavey was walking along tho street, and when ho was nenririg the Clarendon Hotel ho was knocked over by a, motor-car. Dr. j Gibb was called, an 3 the man was or- ■ dored to the Hospital, where it was found that ho had been injured in the back. Heavey is a single man, and lives at 139 Taranaki Street. HURT BY A MOTOR-CYCLE: Harry Moonoy, IS, living at 14 Daniel Street, Nowtown, was admitted to the Wellington Hospital at about. 2 p.m. yesterday, suffering from a broken right leg.. It is stated that Moonoy was knocked down by a motorTcycle at Upper Hutt. While .waiting for the ambulance he was treated at the Trentham Military Camp Hospital. SUDDEN DEATH.
