» MILITARY FUNERAL AT INVERCARGILL. By Teleßraph— Press Association. Inveroargill, February 7. The late Hon. R. M'Nab was accorded a military funeral to-day. The I Acting-Prime Minister (the Hon. James Allen), the Hons. G. W. Russell, W. Kraser, W. D. S.'MacDonald, J. A. .Hauan, G. Jones, M.L.C., and T. M'Gibbon, M.L.C., several members of Parliament, and heads of Departments were among the mourners. Business premises were closed, and thousands of people lined the streets us' tho cortege passed. . ■ Messages of sympathy have been re- • ceived from all parts of tho Dominion, and from Sir Ernest Shackleton and Captains Stenhouse and Davis. The Government offices in 'Wellington were closed from 10 to 11 o'clock yesterday morning as a mark of respect to tho memory of the late Hon. Dr. M'Nab. whose funeral took place at Invercargill at that time.
